ABOUT OUR CHURCH
To all who are weary and seek rest; to all who mourn and long for comfort;
to all who struggle and desire victory; to all who sin and need a saviour;
to all who are idle and look for service; to all who are strangers and want fellowship;
to all who hunger and thirst after righteousness; and to whomsoever will come;
our church has opened wide the doors and, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, says to you...
WELCOME!
OUR VISION
At Upper Annandale Parish Church, we reflect the central ethos of the Church of Scotland of the love and worship of God through following the teachings and examples of Jesus Christ.
We express our love for God by our love and practical care for each other and for those we live with and encounter in our daily lives.
WHAT WE DO
Worship is for everybody, regardless of age, nationality, status or ability.
Regular services of worship are at the heart of the life of the Church, but congregational life includes a wide range of activities including prayer groups, junior church, youth groups, the Guild, social events, support and special interest groups, and charitable activities.
OUR COMMUNITY
We are a Church of Scotland congregation situated in the beautiful market town of Moffat, in Southwest Scotland.
Our friendly congregation is made up of members of a variety of ages and is supported by our team of committed and active elders. We are led in our worship by our minister Rev. Elsie Macrae.
FIND YOUR FAITH
It could be God, or Jesus, or spirituality. Or a desire to live a better life, to have healthier relationships.
It could be about making connections with other people who have faith, or finding a home for your faith, or being part of a church.
It could be about working out if you have faith, and what your faith is in, and what faith means to you.
