Lending a Helping Hand

An important aspect of Christianity is providing fellowship and care to all in the community, not just those that can make it to services each week. All members of the Church are encouraged to lend assistance where they see a need for it, however Upper Annandale Parish Church is also able to provide spiritual and emotional support to all those in need through home and patient visits. 


Pastoral support may be of great benefit to the ill, the bereaved, the dying, or those experiencing particular trauma or turmoil in their lives, for example.

If you would like pastoral care or know someone that would benefit from it, please contact us to organise a visit. Due to changes in data protection laws, a minister or other member of the Church is no longer allowed to visit patients in a hospital or other care facility without request or consent from the patient or his/her next of kin, so this must be arranged beforehand. 

ABOUT US

We are a Church of Scotland congregation situated in the beautiful market town of Moffat, in Southwest Scotland.

 

We worship each Sunday at 10.30 am. There is parking (including accessible bays) available directly outside the Church.

We are delighted to welcome our congregation, wider community and all visitors to our parishes.
